You can listen to music offline on SoundCloud either by utilizing official artist-permitted downloads on a computer or by subscribing to SoundCloud’s premium services on mobile devices.
The official, legal methods to download and stream music offline vary based on the device you use and whether you have a premium subscription. Free Web Downloads (PC and Mac)
If you use a desktop browser, some artists permit direct audio file downloads for free.
Sign In: Log into your account on the SoundCloud Web Platform. Find a Track: Search for your desired track.
Look for “More”: Click the three dots or More button beneath the waveform audio track.
Download: If the artist allowed it, click Download File to save the track directly to your local storage. Official Mobile App Offline Saving (iOS and Android)
You cannot download audio files directly to your phone storage through the mobile app. Instead, you must use SoundCloud’s built-in offline locker, which requires a premium subscription.
Required Tier: A SoundCloud Go or SoundCloud Go+ subscription is necessary to access offline caching.
Automated Syncing: Go to your Library, click your Settings, select Downloads, and toggle on Download automatically. This will automatically cache your entire library of liked tracks and playlists for offline use.
Manual Cache: Alternatively, tap the Download icon (downward arrow) at the top of any specific playlist or album to cache it manually.
