The Core Temp nLite Addon is a historical deployment package used to seamlessly integrate the popular Core Temp CPU monitoring utility directly into a custom Windows installation disc.
It was highly popular during the Windows XP and Windows 7 eras among system builders, power users, and overclockers who used a configuration tool called nLite (or vLite for Windows Vista) to strip down Windows and pre-install core tools. How the Addon Worked
Silent Integration: Rather than installing Core Temp manually after formatting a computer, the addon allowed nLite to bake the program directly into the Windows setup files.
Automated Setup: During the operating system installation, the addon would trigger a silent, unattended installation of Core Temp without requiring user intervention or clicking through installation wizards.
